Daddy & me...
Mommy & me...
Audrey is doing great. She's starting to get adjusted. Her first few days home were a struggle to get her to eat every few hours, and she had jauntis. We had a dr. appointment on Tuesday and Wednesday. At Wednesday's appointment they said her level of jauntis went from 13.9 to 13.4, which isn't a great improvement, but the dr's were happy it stopped going up - so our next appointment is in another week and a half, versus every day. They were also happy with her weight as it started to go up one ounce per day. She's now eating regularly and sleeping regularly (during the day at least)...she's still working on sleeping regularly at night time. : )

Our precious, little girl...
We did it and made it home. Yesterday was our first day home and night with little Audrey. Everything went really well - and we are such proud parents. : ) She has a little jauntis, which is very common with newborns so we had a dr. appointment today and another one tomorrow. We are trying really hard to get her weight to go up, versus down - she started at 5lbs 13oz and is now at 5lbs 8oz. Her jauntis is making her very sleepy so it's difficult to keep her awake to eat.
Thank you to EVERYONE for the many calls, cards, and support. We can't wait for all of you to meet her.

Audrey Elizabeth Nanna has arrived! Sarah's water broke at around midnight on Saturday, July 12 and at 10:07 am (approximately 10 hours later), Mario and Sarah were proud parents to a precious girl :) Audrey was 5 pounds, 13 ounces and 19.5 cm long. She is healthy and absolutely adorable - Mario & Sarah are tired but doing great!! Stay tuned for more comments & pics - these are just a few that Auntie Erin uploaded ...

37 weeks...no sign of labor, yet.
Well - no sign until Friday of Week 37, I guess. Friday night, July 11th - we had a dr. appointment. They told me I was about 2cm dilated, but that it could be another 2 weeks before I had the baby. They were wrong. At midnight that night, I woke up to feel a "pop" and I immediately realized my water broke...to which I shouted "MY WATER'S COMING OUT!" Mario jumped up - and we called the dr. Contractions started about 20 minutes later. We got to the hospital at about 1am....I'll spare the details...and Audrey was born at 10:07am on July 12th. She's a healthy, beautiful baby girl. We are very blessed.
