Happy Easter!

We had Easter at our house this year. Mario's parents and Grandma, my mom & her fiance, and my brother Ben all came over to help celebrate Easter with us. It was a beautiful day filled with special moments and memories that I'm sure will last forever.

Audrey has a big Princess tent that she likes to get anyone she can into. Today we had the two grandmas, Audrey and Uncle Ben in the castle tent all at the same time. Notice Uncle Ben is wearing a "King" crown. A good look for him.

Below is a precious moment between Audrey and my mom.

Here are two of the three grandpas. I talked them into putting the ears on for just a few minutes for the photo op. : ) Very cute, gentlemen.

No Easter with my family is complete without an Easter egg hunt. When the weather doesn't cooperate, they're held inside, but thankfully Mother Nature gave us a nice day.. finally.
Audrey really enjoyed her first Easter egg hunt in our yard. (Yesterday (Saturday), we took her to the NEW Zoo's Easter Eggstravaganza for an Easter Egg hunt too.)

After the Easter egg hunt outside, we came in and went through all of the eggs. Audrey got a lot of candy & money in her eggs. : )

Audrey also got everyone to play a big round of "ring around the rosie".

Conversations with Audrey

I realized I'm forgetting all of the adorable and funny things Audrey says so decided to start writing them down when I am able. Tonight, Audrey called me over. "Mama! Come over here! Come see the birdie!" Audrey (whispering): "See there he is!" "What are you doing up there birdie?" The bird was sitting on the rain gutter in front of the big window in our livingroom. Then he flew away. Audrey: "Ooooh Nooooo. The birdie flew away?" Me: "Where do you think the birdie went?" Audrey: "He went home to brush his teeth" "see you later birdie!" : ) I must add that since the snow has melted, Audrey's been seeing a lot of birds in our yard. Whenever we are outside, she tries to walk over to them and "pet" them. When one keeps hopping farther and farther away, she continues to follow it. I then re-direct her back to our yard, and try to find another bird for her to try to "pet". No such luck yet... but I think she'll enjoy the petting zoos this year.
